She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Ortego and Robert Ortego. She is survived by: her daughter Becky Monrose (Blake); her grandchildren, Brandon Monrose of Lafayette, Avery LeBlanc (Joey) of Lafayette and Aaron Monrose of Baton Rouge; her brother Robert Ortego of California; and her nieces, Annette Wallace Cherwa (Mike) of Virginia Beach, VA and Debbie Wallace Morrison (Bill) of Pineville.
