We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2025, at the age of 78, Thomas Wayne Byrd of Alexandria, Louisiana, born in Ringgold, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Thomas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Byrd and Rosalie Byrd; and his sister Sandra Rowell (Buford "Pete" Rowell). He is survived by: his sibling's children, Rose Warren of Castor, LA and Thomas "Bob" Rowell of Jonesboro, LA; his great-nephew Zackary Hickman of Castor, LA; his great-niece Catherine "Bray" Warren of Castor, LA; Weslynn Warren of Castor, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rockett Funeral Home Chapel (2438 Military Rd, Ringgold, LA 71068).
