He is survived by: his children, Gary Vercher (Rebecca) of Tampa, Florida and Emily Samples (David) of Pollock; his siblings, Lloyd Vercher of Pineville and Pauline Godron of Alexandria; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Samples, Taylor Samples, Kelsie Samples, Jacob Samples, Whitley Aswad, Brittany Aswad, Justin Vercher, Jared Vercher, Jesse Vercher, Dakota Vercher and Lexis Paredes. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
