She is survived by: her children, Alfred Craig, Ron Christopher (Terry Fleming) and Tiffany Richelle Mott (Marcus Lee) of Hattiesburg, MS; her grandchildren, Lynn Christopher Simmons (Brione) of Houston, TX and Marcus Malik Lee of Hattiesburg, MS; her great grandchildren, Blake and Blaise Simmons of Houston, TX.; her siblings, Melba Rankin (Percy), Emily Diane Hall, Lloyd Griffin, III (late Barbara), Bruce, Sonjia Griffin, Gail Howard (John), Louis Bailey, Mary Jane Triche, Patricia Lewis, Cheryl Puryear (Nathaniel), Theresa Dabon, Easter Simoneaux and Sonya Smith; her aunts, Geraldine Dorsey Hill and Marguerite Dorsey of New Jersey; her godchildren, Wilma Lucas, Donna Simmons, Aline Williams Evers, Kayla Morris-Garcia, Antionette Ardion and Emelda Blanco; and her close friends, Joseph Jones and Barbara Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (10867 River Rd, Ama, LA 70031). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
