She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Provost and Pearl Gros Provost; her siblings, Elizabeth "Ann" Provost Hebert, James Provost, Johnnie Provost and Roy Provost; and her former husband Alvin Collins Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Monica Collins Aleman (José), Charles Collins (Susan) and Jeremy Breaux; and her grandchildren, David, Ashton, Bridgette, Catlin and Brooke. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and a close-knit group of nieces, nephews and friends.
