He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon D. Hihar; and his parents, Baltazar Hihar and Irma Hihar. He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Bongard and James Hihar; his grandson Bart Rudesill, Jr.; and his children, Melissa H. Rudesill, Kelvin Hihar, Kevin Hihar (Brenda), Catherine H. McClain (Billy), Gene Hihar, Jr. (Jillian) and Marisa Hihar. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
