She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison and Sylvia Thornhill (Wales); her sister Terri Redmond Pittman; and her stepfather Clifton Redmond. She is survived by: her husband Michael Parrish; her children, Susan Rice (Daniel) of Crossett, AR, Jessica Shoemaker of Amite, LA and Brandon Parrish (Kayla) of Amite, LA.; her grandchildren, Elisa Pippen (Kolby), Alexis Burchell, Gracie Rice (Charlie), Destiney Burchell, Brayden Parrish, Braylee Parrish and Emaleigh Pennington; her great grandchildren, Kacey Stanley, Levi Rice, Amiri Burchell, Winona Pippen, Colton Rice, Jolene Pippen, Laney Jo Rice, Mei'lanii Burchell and Grant Pippen; and her sisters, Sandra O'Quinn and Vicki Lane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
