He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Hood and Marie Kent Hood; his parents-in-law, Elmer Grady Morgan and Gloria McIntyre Morgan; his brother-in-law Chip Morgan; and his nephew Tommy Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Kirk Morgan Hood; his daughters, Amy Hood Conti (Brant), Nancy Hood Pray (Cade) and Betsy Kent Hood; his grandchildren, Savannah Carol Conti, Sophia Morgan Pray, William Blake Conti and Hudson Hood Pray; his siblings, Thomas "Bobo" Hood, Lindy Hayden, Candy Jenkins and Cindy Hood; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Morgan and Marty Morgan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
