He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Slade; his children, Shanda Starnes of Franklinton, Greg Slade (Tammy) of Franklinton and Gary Slade (Beverly) of Franklinton; his grandchildren, Charles Starnes (Kristen), Robert Starnes, Sierra Emmons (Chris), Stuart Slade, Brady Slade (Faye Bordelon), Jeremy Boone, Chase Boone (Krystal) and Kayla Knight (Tiler); his great grandchildren, Alek, Arden Starnes, Lawson, Annalise Emmons, Levy Boone, Avery, Lola, Charlie Boone, Madi, Leah Knight and Bradley Slade; and his nieces, Cindy Fornea (Paul) and Blair Elaine.
