He was predeceased by : his parents, Kermit Scott and Reba Scott; and his nephew David Edward. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Singley Scott; his children, Eric Martin Scott, Natasha Rose Brooks, Michael Todd Lang and Matthew W. Lang; his grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth Lang, Morgan Lang, Seldon Taylor Lang (Bracie), Austin Trevor Lang, Eli Logan Lang, Michael Scott Lang, Gracie Lynn Lang, Benjamin Anthony Brooks, Francesca Elaine Brooks, Harper Lang and Corbin Lang; and his brother David Scott (Welda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
