Evelyn Pierson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, at the age of 92, Evelyn Pierson (Arcadia, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Evelyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evelyn. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McKethan and Annie Mae Lonidier McKethan; her daughter Laquita Pierson; and the father of her children Chuck Pierson. She is survived by: her son Bruce Pierson; her grandson Chuck White (Kari); and her great grandchildren, Owen and Shelby.
She got Polland's Hardware to donate the red paint, and Sheriff Arvis Whittman to let the prison trustees paint it.
