She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jimmy" Boyd and Elsie Turner Boyd; her siblings, Marsha Salmon, John and David Boyd; and her daughter-in-law Carol Harvill.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Smiddy; her son Stephen; her sibling's children, Elizabeth Rogers of Fort Smith, Suzanne Holst of Minden, Laura Tucker (John) of Minden and Dr. Clifton Salmon (Martha) of Homer; her sister-in-law Ingrid Boyd of Denver; and her stepgrandchildren, Christie Craig, Bobby Harvill (Cody) and Jermey Harvill (Brooke).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Arcadia (1680 1st St, Arcadia, LA 71001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
