He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ray Hammon, Sr. and Lawana Kilpatrick Johnson; his stepfather Waymon Johnson; his parents-in-law, Melvin (Peanut) and Beulah Dean; his brother Rusty Johnson; and his nephew Aaron Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Libby Dean Hammon; his sons, Brandon and Kenneth Hammon; his siblings, John Hammon, Danny Hammon, Mark Hammon (Johnette), Weylin Johnson (Jeanette), Rhonda Hollenshead (Keith) and Angie Johnson; Leland, Kathryn Cullins and Johnathon Hammon. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Arcadia (1680 1st St, Arcadia, LA 71001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (2042 LA-519, Arcadia, LA 71001). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tulip Cemetery.
