He was predeceased by: his parents, Nebo Blade and Adell Blade; and his siblings, Tommy, Richard, Charles, Smutt and Clemmie.
He is survived by: his friends, Richard, Butch and Patty; his wife Karen Blade; his brother Joseph Blade (Crystal); and his son Michael Smith. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
