She was predeceased by: her husband Thaddous "Thad" Shiers, Jr.; her son Mark Shiers; her parents, Beatrice Huff Berg and Neville Smith; and her siblings, Janice Collie, John Vinzant, Jerry Vinzant and Charles Berg.
She is survived by: her son Michael Shiers (Tracy); her daughter-in-law Melinda Hendrix Shiers; and her grandson Eli Shiers. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and her racing family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Holley Funeral Home (603 Francis St, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
