He is survived by: his granddaughters, Cali, Klaire, Shannan, Candi, Madison and Alexis; his children, Carl Schexnayder (Kyle), Ray Schexnayder (Denise) of Arnaudville, Stephanie Blanchard (Eddy) of Arnaudville, Sandy Suggs (Mike) of Shreveport, Stacie Chauffe (Gene) of Arnaudville, Sonia Angelle (Simon "Tibby") of Arnaudville and Felicia Schexnayder of Paducah, Kentucky; his siblings, James Schexnayder, Earl Schexnayder (Brenda) of Arnaudville, Audrey Miller (Ernest) of Houma and Marie Stelly (Lionel) of Port Barre; his grandchildren, Jordy, Julian, Noelle, Joshua, Andre', Andrew, Chase, Gabrielle, Wes, Logan and Samuel; his wife Stella Tauzin Schexnayder; his siblings, C. J. Schexnayder, Calvin Schexnayder, Doris Hollier and Neva Ducote; and his sister-in-law Helen Schexnayder. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
