Gilda Black Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2025, at the age of 75, Gilda Black of Arnaudville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adraius Sanchon and Ella Mae Sanchon; and her siblings, Albert Sanchon, Jerry Sanchon, Linda White, Judy Doucet and Trudy Wiltz.
She is survived by: her son Gervais LaGrange; her daughter-in-law Tanya LaGrange; her daughter Amy Mason; and her grandchildren, Trent LaGrange, Saxon LaGrange and Soyer LaGrange.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (314 St Landry St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at the St. John Francis Regis Cemetery (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
