He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Batiste" Comeaux and Mary Louise Etienne Comeaux; his son Paul Lastrapes; and his siblings, Mary Sedonia Comeaux Journet, John Comeaux and Herbert Comeaux.
He is survived by: his close friend Judith Alexander; his daughter Rosa Mae Comeaux of Minnesota; and his siblings, Judy Comeaux White, Dolores Comeaux of Houston, TX, Howard Comeaux and Adam Comeaux of Louisiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (224 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
