He was predeceased by: his daughter Amy Crawford; his grandchild Infant Frederick Twins; his parents, Luke Frederick and Marie Laporte; and his brothers, Donald Frederick, Norman Frederick and Elwood Frederick.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Stoute Frederick of Breaux Bridge; his children, Justin Frederick (Dawn) of Breaux Bridge, Christine Tice (Kimble) of Hot Springs, AR and Hope Stevens (Shawn) of Breaux Bridge; his son-in-law Tony Crawford; his grandchildren, Hannah Battisto (Stefano), Thomas Crawford, Bryce Stevens, Blake Stevens, Ann Marie Tice, Wyatt Tice, Jenna Frederick and Lacey Frederick; and his siblings, Milton Frederick of Arnaudville, Charles Frederick of Scott, Gerald Frederick of Lafayette, Janice Brasseaux of Lafayette and Geraldine Quebedeaux of Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home of Arnaudville (224 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in honor of Roderick "Pee Wee" Frederick.
