It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Nathan Morrison Sr. (Ashland, Louisiana), who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Morrison (Jim) and Ella Lee Morrison; and his siblings, Tom Morrison, Robert Morrison Jr., Ora Lain Morrison, Ulas Earl Morrison, Ronald Morrison, Laura Albright and Clara May Cockerham.

He is survived by : his wife Lettice Morrison; his sons, Joe Morrison Jr. (Regina), Tommy Morrison (Chante), Ricky Morrison (Diane), Danny Morrison (Kim) and David; and his siblings, Amos Morrison, John Morrison, Versia Davis and Jannie Moss. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews & nieces.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ashland Community Center (719 LA-153, Ashland, LA 71002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Iron Springs Cemetery Iron Springs Cemetery.
