He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wade Maness II (Faith) of Minden, Louisiana, Maegan Maness of Bossier City, Louisiana, Lauren Maness of Dallas, Texas, Katelin Payne (Matthew) of Midland, Texas and McKenzie Easterling (Nathan) of Homer, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Christopher Ashley, Tessa, Trace, Graham, Emilia, Aspen, Parker, Greyson and Aiden; his brother Todd Zappa (Michelle) of Benton, Louisiana; his aunt Betty Paul of Minden, Louisiana; and his uncle Michael Lindsey (Francine) of Austin, Texas.. He is also survived by father and grandfather.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Athens (15274 LA-9, Athens, LA 71003). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Craighead Cemetery (6652 LA-518, Athens, LA 71003).
