In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Fabre and Shirley Chenevert Fabre; and his siblings, Randy Fabre and Diane LeBlanc. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hornsby Fabre; his children, Doreen Prejean (Doug), Stefanie Davis and Todd Fabre (LaDonna); and his stepchildren, Kim Hollis (Jimmy), Angie McKey (Rawlins) and Jay Faust (Candi). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
