He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Crosby Neely; his parents, Edward E. Neely Sr. and Alyeene Minton Neely; his son Gary Neely; his brothers, Jimmy Watkins and Carl Edward Neely; and his brothers-in-law, Aurelian Schexnayder Jr., Gene, Marines, Vietnam and Honorably.
He is survived by: his children, Edward E. Neely III (Jennifer), Stacey Erin Mora (Roger), Johnathan Neely, Jason Neely (Evy), Loren Loretta Neely and Adriene Smith (Lance); his siblings, Gail Cast (Bill), Dorothy Schexnayder and Tommy Neely (Sharon); his sister-in-law Joeann Watkins; and his friend Jeri Lynn S George. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
