He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Alvin Jewell, Sr. and Agnes Robillard Jewell; his sister Patricia Jewell Sanchez; his brothers-in-law, Nelton Vosburg and Ernest "EJ" Falcon, Jr.; and his nephews, Craig Falcon and Chad Vosburg.
He is survived by: his sister Gerry Jewell Vosburg; his brother-in-law Louis Sanchez; his former wife Brenda Taillon; his grandchildren, Grace Jewell, Noah Jewell, Collin Jewell, Kohlby Clements and Chloe Jewell; Brad Jewell (Christy), Laurie Jewell and Chris Jewell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (348 W Main St., New Roads, LA 70760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Butch's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
