He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Rudolph Heil and Almeda Horn Heil; his children, Chris Heil, Debbie Heil Seay and Stacie Heil Guidry; and his sister Betty Boatwright.
He is survived by: his wife Helen McBroom Heil; his children, Glenn Heil (Fran), Faith Heil Jellison (Nathanial) and Mistie Heil Lee (John); and his children-in-law, Keri Heil and Norman Guidry. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
