George Holaway Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Holaway of Baker, Louisiana, who passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George'Pete' Holaway and Agnes Holaway; and his brothers, George'Brent'Holaway and Kenneth'Bud'Holaway. He is survived by: his wife Vera'Marie'Holaway; and his children, Mike Holaway (Joni), Steve Holaway (Trina), Donnie Holaway (Lori) and Michele Perez (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or the First United Methodist Church Youth Ministries.
