She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Norman "Buddy" Birch; her parents, Allen Quillan Smith and Arneter Aurelia Frazier Smith; and her siblings, James Smith, Roy Smith, Joe Smith, Wilma McDaniel and Willie Lemener "Coot" Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Baxter (Bonnie Birch), Carmen (Jeff Beasley) and Kyle (Belinda Birch); her grandchildren, Amanda, Dr. Scott Witte, Courtney, Gregory Zito, Ashley, Vince Golden, Brooke, Alex Stewart, Austin and Cheyanne Birch; and her great grandchildren, Lyla Witte, Camilla Witte and Cooper Zito. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
