He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Ford and Margaret Ford; and his stepson Jeffrey Lane Wilkinson. He is survived by : his wife Linda Ford; his son Kyle Ford; his sisters, Darlene Spring (Kirk) and Donna Brown (Mark); and his niece Kimberly Spring. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
