With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence McCearley Jr. (Baker, Louisiana), who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence McCearley, Sr. and Mary McCearley; his son Gary Plaisance; his brother Edward McCearley; and his son-in-law L. J. Blanchard.

He is survived by : his wife Cleta McCearley; his daughter Angie Blanchard; his daughter-in-law Paula Plaisance; his grandchildren, Desiree Shaw (Darin), Joey Plaisance (Christi), Jessica Plaisance, Justin Blanchard (Katelyn), Heather Templet (Carl) and Sheree Gerald (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Victoria St. Romain, Jude St. Romain, Addie Plaisance, Amelia Plaisance, Gerald, Colton Gerald, Hudson Gerald, Miguel Templet, Mimi Templet and Micah Templet; and his brothers, Marion McCurley and Thomas McCurley (Elisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
