She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Hunter Lewis; her parents, Albert Joseph Lopez and Leontine Boudreaux Lopez; her son Asa W. Lewis; and her grandson James Haynsworth.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Lewis Haynsworth of Zachary, Robin Lewis Overhultz (Jerry) of Baker, Tammie Lewis Fazio (Tommy) of Baton Rouge and Michael G. Lewis (Betty) of Central. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
