He was predeceased by: his father John T. Buxton. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Buxton; his children, Natalie Cowart (Luke), Dara Nolan (Everett), Lindsey Kling, Jessica Kling and Daniel Kling (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Colton Cowart, Macy Cowart, Paxton Cowart, Josie Cowart, Campton Cowart, Charley Nolan, Ashlyn Kling, Devan Ellis, Jaci Ellis, Drew Ellis, Kelsey Montgomery, Dalton Saucier, Daylan Kling, Cole Kling, Shaun Kling and Haidyn Kling; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Layne, Jayce and Aris; and his siblings, John Lynn Buxton (Toni), Steven Lee Buxton (Lisa), Darran Randall Buxton (Tracy) and Darlene Hendrickson (Randy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (6213 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714).
