He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Neal McLain Sr. and Irene Paxton McLain; and his sisters, Juanita Fay Haller and Edith Ella Rome. He is survived by : his children, Melissa Michele Carter (Jim) and Thomas Neal McLain (Sheri); and his sister Ethel Flora Rink of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
