It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Prejean of Baker, Louisiana, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Murphy Prejean; her daughter Gretchen Prejean; her grandson Josh Prejean; and her siblings, Huey Thibodeaux (Barbara), Helen Richard (Jack), Verlie Matt (Dewey) and Josephine Prejean Grasso (Joe).
She is survived by: her sons, Huey Comeaux (Rita), Kenny Prejean (Julie) and Ricky Prejean (Ceci); and her sister Berthaline Garcia (Dennis). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
