He was predeceased by : his wife Jeanette "Memaw" Stallings Bethany; and his parents, Thomas "Pip" Thornton Bethany and Ruby "Mip" Richardson Bethany. He is survived by : his children, Marsha Price (Steve), Lisa Bethany and John Barham (Cherie Vaughan); his sisters, Frances Cammack and Rosalyn Ladd; and his grandchildren, Carlye, Jessie, Kristen, Celeste, Jonathan, Danielle, Ashli and Sydni. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
