He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Calhoun and Sarah Calhoun; his brothers, Elvin J and Henry J Polk; and his nephew Ricardo Hollins.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Calhoun; and his siblings, Tammy Chambers (Dedrick), Lanell Landry (James) and Ricky Polk (Hilda). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church (2200 Louisiana Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
