She is survived by: her brother Ronald Batiste; her children, Gregory Sr., Kim, Jim Victor, Dawne Stephanie, Sonya, Toni and Joey; and her grandchildren, Tia, Shayna, Latara, Marrick, Taneika, Gregory Jr., Kirby, Sherman, Shatondra, Joey, Antoinette and Saidah. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
