Shirley Comeaux McLean Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2025, at the age of 83, Shirley Comeaux McLean (Baldwin, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Louis Comeaux; her husband Cleo Benjamin "Bennie" McLean Sr.; her son Cleo McLean Jr.; her grandson Benjamin Grant McLean; her parent Gersie Hebert Comeaux; and her in-laws, Parker and Isabelle Wellman McLean.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Carla Hebert McLean; her grandchildren, Matthew McLean, Lindsay Albert, Elliot McLean, Michael Bodin, Brynn Poimboeuf, Brian Kelly, Desiree Melancon, Kayla Pellerin, Luke McLean, John McLean and Mary McLean; and her sisters, Romona Hebert, Ethel Meyers, Sue Meave (Jorge) and Linda Crappell (Leo). She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A rosary was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (414 Martin Luther King Jr St, Baldwin, LA 70514).
