It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Pierre of Baldwin, Louisiana, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Pierre and Virginia Pierre; his wife Louise Pierre; his son-in-law Al Williams Sr.; his brothers, Russell Pierre, Sr., Rufus Pierre, Edwin Pierre, Sr., Edmond Pierre, Milton Pierre, Sr., Alton'Lit'Pierre and Miller'Bob'Pierre; and his children, Cherry Pierre and Crystal Bowser.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Williams, Penny Pierre of New Orleans, LA, Steven Pierre of New Orleans, LA, Sharon Williams of Pensacola, FL, Robert Pierre (Washington DC), Kevin Pierre of Denton, TX and Francine Prince (Antoine); his grandchildren, Al John Williams Jr., Angel Williams, Juwan Pierre, Ashton Williams, Jalil Pierre, Jalyn Pierre, Andrea Pierre, Alayna Prince, Andre Pierre, Ashlun Prince, Nikki Moore, Tyrus Williams, Larracia Simmons, Lynesia Carson, Amber Pierre, Roman Green, Jazz Hewitt, Kristen Bowser, Kiristen Thomas and Patrick Thomas Jr.; his godchildren, Darrel Perry and Deidra Perry-Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Bettye Pierre and Gloria Pierre Lovings. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (1262 Bobtown Rd, Charenton, LA 70523). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
