She was predeceased by: her parents, William Francis Oliphant and Mattie Carter Oliphant; and her brother Billy Ray Vercher. She is survived by: her sister Olivia "Libby" Chambley of Alexandria, Louisiana; and her nephew Tracy Vercher (Jody) of Keysville, Virginia.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with numerous extended family members and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to local animal charities, reflecting her love for wildlife and the natural world.
