He is survived by: his wife Vera Hall Stokes; his daughters, Crystal Vidrine (Daryl) and Courtney Reed (Jason); and his siblings, Courtland Stokes, Jr. (Brenda), Carlis Stokes (Theresa), Mary Ann Chevallier (Michael), Candace Holmes and Mary Rivers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
