He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McCartney Strother; and his parents, Marvin Strother, Jr. and Ruth Hebert Strother. He is survived by: his siblings, Adrian V. Strother (Sue), Bryan A. Strother (Wanda), Barry M. Strother (Dianne) and Katherine Cheney; and his stepchildren, Christine Eding and Randy Kerns. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
