With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne Austin (Ball, Louisiana), who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordia Alva and Gracie Lee Higdon Austin; his siblings, Doyle Austin, Robert Dean and Doris Jean Austin; and his brother-in-law Lee Roy Odenbough.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Adams Austin; his children, Shannon Austin, Darrell Austin (Shelley), Ken Price, Regina Austin, Lana Roberts and Candace Price; his siblings, Colleen Odenbough and Don Austin; and his sister-in-law Velda Pennington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bentley United Pentecostal Church (19578 US-167, Dry Prong, LA 71423). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
