James A. Vallet Obituary

We bid farewell to James A. Vallet (Ball, Louisiana), born in Flatwoods, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 16, 2025 at the age of 79. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph James Vallet "Buddy" and Mary Ezell Vallet; his wife Stephanie Townsend Vallet; and his siblings, Mary Catherine Vallet and Sam Vallet.

He is survived by: his children, Amanda Gayle Vallet-Carderara (Matt) of Tioga, Louisiana, Mary Elizabeth Vallet Jackson (Joel) of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Victoria Marie Vallet of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mark Johnson (MKay) of Calhoun, Louisiana, Sherry Philips of Slidell, Louisiana, Wendi Johnson of Pineville, Louisiana, Jason Johnson (KayCee) of Pineville, Louisiana and Joey Johnson of Texas; his siblings, Michael Vallet (Cathy) of Mountain City, Tennessee, Mary Catherine Lavesphere of Cox Creek, Kentucky, Annie Vallet Addison of Huntsville, Texas and Mark Bailey; and his grandson Blake Barton. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large congregation of friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Alpine Baptist Church (7215 Shreveport Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
