She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina McPheeters and Chester Hurst; her husband Paul Bordelon of Tioga; and her son Kirt Bordelon of Harrington, Delaware.. She is survived by: her brother Richard Schaad of Wilseyville, CA; her children, Denese, Rex Boyd, Adrienne, Danny Dunn, Thomas Bordelon, Celeste, Christopher Hackett, Camille Bordelon, Nancy Bordelon and Loretta Slaughter; her grandchildren, Derek Boyd, Dain Boyd, Gwendolyn Arender, Andrew Dunn, Brett Dunn of Taipei, Kirt Allen Bordelon, Lydia, Paul and Christian Dubroc; her great grandchildren, Carter Boyd, Blake Byrd, Cameron Boyd, Bennon Boyd, Bella Despino, Micah, Benjamin Dunn, Diana James, Ashley Smith and Jeffery Stallings; and her great great grandchildren, Kolby and Oliver Byrd.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gallagher Funeral Home (3994 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (4401 Bayou Rapides Rd, Alexandria, LA 71301). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4000 Monroe Hwy, Ball, LA 71405).
