It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ellzey Sanders of Ball, Louisiana, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Byron Ellzey and Darcy Ellzey; her sister Ola Pearl Smith; her husband E. B. Sanders; and her children, Richard Sanders and Madelene Sanders Futch.

She is survived by : her children, JoLynn Sanders Burns (A. J.), Terry Neil Sanders (Shelly) and David Gordon Sanders (Dawn); her children-in-law, Judy Sanders and Randall Futch; and her grandchildren, Christina Gail Sanders Singleton (Jack), Richard Bryant Sanders Jr., Katie Burns Miller (Nick), Sarah Burns McCarley (Travis), A. J. Burns III (Heidi), Timothy Sanders, Kevin Sanders, Laurie Ann Sanders Bolden, Bradley Sanders (Alli), Kayla Sanders, Kim Smith (Chuck), Zach Sanders, Cameron Sanders, Janey Futch, Randi Futch Meche (Scott) and Jessica Warner.
