He is survived by: his wife Opal LaPrairie Willis; his children, Chance Willis (Brandi) of Pineville and Tye Roberts (Mark) of Pineville; his adoptive daughter Hilda Ledford of Cleveland, Tennessee; his siblings, Donald Willis (Cindy) of Woodworth, Richard Willis (Carlene) of Chidester, Arkansas and Peggy Lanza (Gary) of The Villages, Florida; his grandchildren, Jason, Laken, Cassidy, Hunter, Dallas, Xander, Bay-Lea, Ransom, Sophie, Halo, Braze-Lynn and Brittany; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Ryker, Laythe, Hadleigh, Eden, Prestyn, Ace, Oaklynn and Farah.
