She was predeceased by : her parents, Monroe Cowart and Laura Whatley Cowart; and her sister Anna Laura Brooks. She is survived by : her children, Michael J. Fontenot (Louann) of Monroe and Rebecca Monroe (Thomas) of Marble Falls, Arkansas; and her niece Donna Goshhorn.
