It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilburn Dewayne Franks of Ball, Louisiana, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nettie Franks; his parents, John Franks and Ruth Franks; his children, Wesley Hebron and Christine Melder; his siblings, Cecil Franks, John D. Franks, Jr., Martha A. Franks and Alma Ruth Myers; his children, John D. Hebron of Bentley, Roy Hebron (Ginger) of Ball and Bertha Duhon (Danny) of Maurice; and his siblings, Edward Franks (Mickie) of Deville, Charles Franks (Linda) of Pineville and Glenda Coburn of Pineville. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
