He was predeceased by: his wife Lela June Dicus; his parents, Walter L. Dicus and Anna Long Dicus; and his siblings, Dorothy Hallett, Betty Mayall and Charles "Bud" Dicus.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Dicus (Janet) and Jimmy Dicus (Angie); his grandchildren, Devin Dicus (Mandy), Jeremy Dicus (Kandi), Kayla Dicus Ladnier (Dane), Austin Dicus and Grace Dicus; and his sisters, Faye Davidson and Katherine Arndt. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local Veteran's organization, a cause close to Harold's heart.
