He is survived by: his significant other Alice Dauzat O'Neal; his sons, Sammy O'Neal (Donna), Todd O'Neal and Jerrel O'Neal (Monica); and his brothers, Ricky Belgard, Lou Gordon and Robert Tarver. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (794 W Bryant Rd, Center Point, LA 71323). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tyler Cemetery.
